Today the children have been learning about the significance of Remembrance Day. To commemorate this day, the children have read the poem ‘Flanders Field’ by John McCrae. Each child learnt part of the poem and then presented their line to the class using a Green Screen.

In Art, the class have been making fantastic Anglo-Saxon clay pots and artefacts.
Today a storyteller came in to visit our class and shared some fantastic stories from Cameroon whilst playing his drum. The children joined in with some call and response as well as singing.
This half term the children are learning about Europe. As part of this topic, children researched their chosen European country and selected a famous landmark or place within the country to find some interesting facts about. They then shared this information using our Green Screen.
