Today the children have been learning about the significance of Remembrance Day. To commemorate this day, the children have read the poem ‘Flanders Field’ by John McCrae. Each child learnt part of the poem and then presented their line to the class using a Green Screen.

Today a storyteller came in to visit our class and shared some fantastic stories from Cameroon whilst playing his drum. The children joined in with some call and response as well as singing.
Our value this half term is love. To share our love with the local community, children kindly made some heart biscuits for St. Mary’s church Sunday service. They were greatly appreciated!
We have been learning about one of the world’s most famous prehistoric monuments, Stonehenge, as part of our Stone Age topic. Children then made their own mini version of this monument using salt dough.
